There’s another easy, very easy way to make butter; although you must eat it almost immediately. It’s good for a party. Just add heavy whipping cream in a couple of mason jars or any kind of jar with a tight fitting lid. Each person takes a turn at shaking the jar. You just keep passing it around. After a short while…..presto, you’ve got butter. Serve an assortment of crackers. It acts as an appetizer. If it was fun for me in my classroom with fourth graders, it’ll be a blast for young adults.
