Hi everyone. By now you’ll have noticed that Slow Christmas was a little anemic this year. Just wanted to take a moment to let you know why. It was a busy season at work, and I was falling down on a lot of things that are important to me: time with the Spouse, sleep, seeing friends. In happier news, we also bought our own place, and moved in just before Christmas! But then immediately went on the road to visit family in two different towns for the holiday. (Someone could stand to take some of her own advice, huh?)
Anyway, given all that was going on, I felt it was more important to live a Slow Christmas however I could, even if it meant I couldn’t write about it. So there you have it. I have missed you all dearly this season. I hope to return refreshed next Christmas. And in the meantime, Happy New Year to all! I’ll be employing the “stop, think, and drop” rule with an especially firm hand this year, and I hope you do too!
Can’t believe I have to wait seven months until your next post! But a slow Christmas is definitely worth waiting for.
